With the internet business world being as competitive as it is, every little advantage that a website gets is essential to its success. The internet arms race to drive traffic to websites has never been more heated. With that in mind, website owners have to find new ways to push that valuable traffic to their site. That’s where Cyber Web Link the bidding web directory comes into play. Cyberweblink is a website link directory where website owners can bid on the right to have their listing appear at the top of the main page.

The way it works is simple. The more you bid, the better your chances are of appearing on the front page. If you bid enough to be in the top 10 listings on the entire site, then a link to your website will appear on the main page. Likewise, if your link is one of the top 10 in your subcategory, a link will appear on the main category page. This is an easy and relatively inexpensive way for website owners to get on top of the online business world.

The advantage of putting your link on cyberweblink is that it will help improve human spidering, which is a large part of the search engine rankings. By putting yourself atop the search engine rankings because of your extra quality backlinks, more people are likely to find your website. That could result in a huge amount of advertising revenue. There is no limit to the amount of money you can bid on cyberweblink.com, so if it’s important enough to you, bidding a good bit is not out of the question.

Unlike many web link directories, cyberweblink offers you some different options. If you make a bid and then determine that you bid was not enough to land a valuable spot on the homepage, you can add funds to your listing at you own discretion. This is important for those website owners who are looking to make that perfect bid and land their website link right on the front page. By simply putting your link on the directory, you will be improving the search engine ranking of your site. So come and submit to any of these catagory such as Flowers, Hire and Rental, Paid Directories, Consumer Electronics and Hotels.

But after a year and a half of work experience, I’d already realized that you must, must do in this life what really, truly excites you. Yeah, we all hear that, but rarely does it sink in, at least fully. I thought that the dot-com era excited me, and it did in many ways, but in reality I was swept up in this incredible wave of frenzied, IPO-seeking, “I’m going to make a million before 25″ mania. I liked the way it was changing the world. But in too many ways I felt like I was selling my soul by participating. I want my end product to matter. I don’t want to make money just to make money. In other words, I want to do more than just shuffle bits. I want to save lives.
Variety is reporting that “After an exhaustive search, NBC has chosen British actress Michelle Ryan for the lead role of Jamie Sommers in its upcoming Bionic Woman pilot. The network reported considered better-known stars, but ultimately went with someone who’ll be a newcomer to most American viewers. Ryan is known in the United Kingdom for having spent five years on the long-running BBC serial EastEnders.”poker rooms

Big Words

I’m just a normal guy. So, if you post a description of yourself in the company facebook archive, try to keep it simple. If I have to check out Wikipedia to find out that a “pescatarian” doesn’t eat land animals, I don’t feel enlightened, further educated, or hopeful for social justice. I feel like eating a cheeseburger. This means you, new girl in the DC office.

Widgets from WidgetBox

I recently discovered a great website called WidgetBox that hosts 1,000s’s of widgets that you can add to your blog. You can also take your own blog feed and turn it into a widget! While I’m spending all this time working on widgets, here’s what I’m listening to:
But… why the delay? I mean, that was nearly five years ago. Well, life intervened. First of all, I had to go back and take classes. Then I had to take the MCAT (Medical College Admision Test). Then a tragic family event occurred. This delayed my application by two more years. So here I am now, ready and raring to go after waiting for this for a long time.

Well Hello there Mister sneaky pants.
Unfortunately, the page you’re looking for doesn’t exist, never existed, or is unavailable for your viewing pleasure.

But hey, while you’re here, enjoy some recent Blogdrive entries:
As far as I can tell, the hotel staff has not circumvented the DND sign, so all is well.

Anyhoo, I’m hoping I can get out of here early. Since I’ve been here, the warmest day saw temperatures in the high fifties, and that was a fluke. The last couple of days have been unseasonably cold, even for NY. Yesterday, the temperature didn’t get above 15, and the wind was blowing at 20-40 mph… the wind chill was in single digits. Today wasn’t quite as bad (less wind), but there’s about a half-inch deep dusting of snow on the ground. This is the kind of snow that’s so cold, it doesn’t melt or stick…it just blows around like dust. It makes some interesting patterns on the roadways, but other than that, it doesn’t really have much of an impact.

I miss the Raleigh weather almost as much as I miss Cary. Ok, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration.

Sorry i’ve been so slack this weekend. I was too busy losing brain cells and sleep.
I am kind of having 2nd thoughts about this diet. Truly. 1)my stomach has felt nasty for a couple of days, not unsimilar to how I felt on Atkins…that gross non-bread feeling. I already take meds for reflux. In anycase, i put my ass on Phase II today, eating a piece of bread was not as thrillng as I thought it would be, but I do feel a bit better.bil - bil info

I did have a momentary laspe of reasoning this weekend. It was 4 am, my friend had made some homemade eggrolls and sweet and sour sauce. ’nuff said.

I am going to stay on track this week and weigh myself either tommorrow or wed. i can’t join the gym as planned–$$$. Next payday hopefully. I am going to try some walking if its not storming out tonight

meanwhile, i am freaking out because i had surgery to remove a pilonoidal cyst this winter, and I think its returning and I can’t NOT take another surgery, and recovery again. I just can’t. I am also going to go see that cunt bitch dematologist who led me to believe I might have POCD today, for another thing. I promise to be nice.
Tell me that didn’t just blow your mind.

I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind There was something so pleasant about that place. Even your emotions have an echo In so much space And when you’re out there Without care, Yeah, I was out of touch But it wasn’t because I didn’t know enough I just knew too much Does that make me crazy? Does that make me crazy? Does that make me crazy? Probably And I hope that you are having the time of your life But think twice, that’s my only advice Come on now, who do you, who do you, who do you, who do you think you are, Ha ha ha bless your soul You really think you’re in control Well, I think you’re crazy I think you’re crazy I think you’re crazy Just like me My heroes had the heart to lose their lives out on a limb

This very well could be a short-term reaction to the last few trading sessions which have seen gains in the Dow but losses in the S&P 500 and Nasdaq. Or it could be an early warning of a dramatic market correction much more amplified than the one experienced in February. As the saying goes, it’s better to be safe than sorry, so it’s our decision to re-allocate the model portfolios into cash for the time being.

Anyway, I flew in to Islip on February 28th for a two day class, followed by a full week from March 5th through the 9th. There were only 3 people, including me, in the first class. I found out on Friday that in the week-long programming class, there would only be myself and a co-worker from our Utah office. That was good news, because most of the time, there’s at least one person in a class that slows down the pace with way too many questions. Well, on Sunday night, I heard from my co-worker, who spent the weekend in the hospital and wouldn’t be coming to the week-long class. So it’s just me and the instructor.
So today is Day 3 (Wednesday), and I got out of class 2 hours early because we’re already at the end of the Day 4 material. I haven’t been rushing — in fact, we’ve even taken time to do some experimentation with the class material; it’s just that this stuff is fairly easy, and without other people in the class asking questions, it just naturally moves more quickly.

So it looks like I may end up getting done on Thursday, which means I can try to find an alternate flight on Friday instead of Saturday.
I started phase II yesterday..but all weekend, I truly felt like maybe this is not the diet for me. Its not that I miss certain foods per se, its just that i feel like i am not losing a lot of weight 4lbs..in fact today i feel like i’ve gained weight.

Also, and perhaps this is an whole other thread, but I do socially go out and drink usually 3x a week. I wouldn’t classify myself as an alcholic, as i don’t *need* to drink, but I do *like8 to drink..I guess its part of my socialization..going out with my friends for beer/cocktails, seeing local bands..I don’t want to do what a friend i know who was on WW did–she’d save all her points for one day for drinking and then be starving. Also, a lot of the places I go do not serve good wine. I like wine a lot, and i refuse to have a crappy class of it…

On a postive note, I definitely am eating healthier on this diet i.e more veggies, but I just don’t know. Maybe I am retaining water.

The class has been interesting, and I’ve learned a lot, but it’s just not possible to slow down in order to pad out the material for an additional day or more.

As for New York, this area of Long Island is a lot like Raleigh in some ways. It’s flat, has plenty of trees, and not many tall buildings. It’s UNlike Raleigh in that there’s nothing to do around here. There’s an Applebee’s and a McDonalds across the street from the Hotel, but this stretch of road has very little else. I drove around over the weekend looking for something to do, but came up empty.

I considered taking the train into Manhattan on Saturday — and I regret not doing to, because it was the warmest day — but decided against it.

Like Janine, I also tend to put the Do-Not-Disturb sign on my door. I travel with a lot of electronics (laptop, old 4th generation iPod, PSP (comes in handy at the airport and on flights) and a portable media player for watching movies), and I have to leave this stuff in my hotel room while I’m in class, so I’d rather keep my room off-limits to hotel staff. I don’t actually think the cleaning staff would steal anything, but I’d just rather not take my chances. After only a couple of days of having the DND sign on the door, the cleaning people kept bugging me about needing towels. I don’t know about everybody else, but I don’t go through towels like they were napkins. Those things are reusable.

The nice thing about being in a class by yourself (haha) is that you can work at your own pace without having to wait for other people to catch up (or to work faster to catch up, depending on how dumb you are slowly you work). The bad thing about being in a class by yourself is that you can work at your own pace, and that often means that you end up blowing through the course material much faster.
At Tuesday’s close over 55% of the NYSE volume was on the down side while over 75% of the Nasdaq volume was down. Yesterday, downside volume had declined to 38% on the NYSE and to 39% on the NASDAQ. Both the short-term moving averages of Breadth and Volume have been declining for the past week and are on the verge of crossing into negative territory. It will most likely take more than a little good news on the M&A front to turn these indicators around now that earnings season is just about over and most of the big boys will be heading to the Hampton’s soon.
